I can't buy E1 KIT because the Canon tech tells me that my copier was to old, and he had not parts for it anymore. Installing and using the Canon UFR driver usually corrects the error. Sorry if I'm mistaking but I'm really newby in copier :) How can I upgrade bootrom version (I didn't know it was possible but it seems possible regarding my "C" bootrom) / downgrade firmware version ? So, I think teckat is right when he said that the problem must come from firmware version compared to bootrom version.
The "C" version bootrom is written as 06.36C on it (see page 1, post #8) but displayed as 10.42C in system (see page 2, post #14). Here the picture of the copier with "N" bootrom plugin in.
